Common questions

Can I download Sonivault yet?

Not yet. Sonivault is in testing and isn't on the App Store. It will need an iPhone running iOS 18 or later. This site will link to the App Store when it's released.

Do I need an account?

No. Sonivault has no account or sign-in. Open the app and start.

Where is my progress saved?

Only on your iPhone, inside Sonivault. That covers completed lessons, practice history, graded answers, skill ratings, saved drills and genre intensive progress. None of it is sent to me.

Does my progress sync to my other devices?

No. Sonivault doesn't sync. Progress stays on the iPhone where you made it.

How do I start again from scratch?

On the Learn tab, tap the gear to open Settings, then choose Reset Progress. This erases all your progress on the device and can't be undone. Lessons and exercises are not affected.

What happens to my progress if I delete the app?

iOS deletes the app's data along with the app, so your progress is removed too. Reinstalling starts you from the welcome screen.

Sonivault says my saved progress couldn't be read. What now?

If Sonivault can't read the progress saved on your iPhone, your progress may appear reset. Sonivault keeps an unchanged recovery copy of the earlier progress on the device and shows a notice in Settings. Please email me with your app version and build so I can look into it. Dismissing the notice only hides it. The recovery copy stays on the device.

Does Sonivault need an internet connection?

No. Lessons, exercises and audio are built into the app, and it doesn't connect to the internet.

I think an answer in a lesson is wrong.

Please do. Email the lesson or exercise title, the answer you chose, and why you think it's right.
